On the very first day, you explore the must-sees of Tunis – the UNESCO-listed medina, the Bardo Museum and its Roman mosaics, the archaeological site of Carthage and the charming village of Sidi Bou Said. But this is only the beginning. The Wonders of the South then take you to Kairouan, the holy city, before plunging into the desert landscapes of the south.

Along the way, you will explore the perched oases of Chebika and Tamerza, walk in the footsteps of Luke Skywalker at Mos Espa and Ong Jemal, and cross the salt mirror of Chott el Jerid. A night under a Bedouin tent in Sabria, a swim in the hot springs of Ksar Ghilane, the discovery of the fortified ksours of Tataouine and the troglodyte village of Matmata punctuate this unique journey.

Tour the Medina of Tunis, wandering its narrow alleys as your guide brings the city's rich history to life, then visit the celebrated Bardo Museum. Head to La Goulette for a grilled-fish lunch by the sea before exploring the archaeological site of Carthage, with its layers of Punic and Roman history, and the charming blue-and-white village of Sidi Bou Said. Transfer to Kairouan for dinner and your overnight stay.

Explore the mountain oasis of Chebika and the great waterfall of Tamerza, then journey across rocky terrain and sand dunes to Ong Jemal for a photo stop at Mos Espa, the largest and most famous Star Wars set in Tunisia. Continue to Douz, the gateway to the desert, pausing at the vast salt lake of Chott Djerid, and arrive at your Bedouin camp in Sabria for dinner and a night under the stars.

After a morning at the Douz market, head to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane and its natural hot spring — enjoy a swim, with an optional camel or quad ride through the dunes. Following a local lunch, continue to the Berber region of Tataouine to discover the cliffside village of Chenini, the Star Wars location of Ksar Hadada and the Mosque of the Seven Sleepers, before settling into a rural guesthouse in Douiret.

Drive to the troglodyte village of Matmata with a photo stop at Toujane, visit the famous Hôtel Sidi Driss film location and step into a Berber family's underground home. After a local lunch, continue to El Jem to tour its colossal Roman amphitheatre — the largest after Rome's Colosseum — and its fine museum, before returning to Tunis and the end of our services.

A deposit of 30% of the total price is required to confirm your booking, this can be paid securely online via our payment link. The remaining balance is paid in cash (euros or Tunisian dinars, both accepted) directly to your guide at the start of the tour. No bank transfer or card payment is required for the balance.
