Who we are

Djerba travel agency since 2015, Tunisia Travel Guide has its office in Houmt Souk, on the island of Djerba. We are a Tunisian company licensed by the Tunisian National Tourist Office (ONTT), and we organise private tours, day excursions and activities throughout the country: the beaches and villages of Djerba, the Sahara and its oases, the Roman sites of the north and the medinas of Tunis, Kairouan and Sousse.

Every request is handled by our own team. You write to us on WhatsApp or by email, and the same people prepare your quote, book your hotels and desert camps, brief your driver and guide, and follow your trip on the ground. There is no call centre and no intermediary between you and the people who organise your stay.

We live here, so we know the roads, the seasons and the places worth the detour. Each itinerary is built around what you want to see and the time you have, not around a fixed group programme: a few days in the desert, a cultural tour of the north, or a single excursion from your hotel.

Our vehicles carry our colours and are chosen to suit each trip: a 4×4 for the desert and the dunes, a minibus for groups, a car or an SUV for transfers. Our tours are private, so you travel only with the people you came with, at your own pace.

Our office is open Monday to Saturday, from 9 am to 6 pm, at 17 Rue Ezzouhour, Essouani, in Houmt Souk. During your stay in Djerba you are welcome to stop by to meet the team, ask a question or prepare your next excursion with us. We also arrange private transfers between the airport and your hotel, and we are happy to advise you on the best season for each region.

Prices are set in advance, per person and according to the size of your group, and every quote lists what is included and what is not. If anything changes, we tell you before it happens. You can also read what our travellers say on TripAdvisor.

Founder & Director

Salim founded Tunisia Travel Guide in Djerba in 2015. He sets the direction of the agency, selects our local partners and personally oversees the quality of every trip.

Sarra

Managing Director

Sarra manages the agency: administration, accounts and agreements with our partners. She makes sure every booking is handled smoothly and every commitment we make is kept.

Neji

Itinerary Designer

Neji designs our tours and itineraries. He plans each route, the pace of each day and the stops worth making, so that your trip is both rich and comfortable.

Mona

Travel Manager

Mona runs our day-to-day operations: she books hotels and camps, and briefs our guides and drivers. During your trip, she checks that everything runs exactly as planned.

Malek

Travel Advisor

Malek is usually the first person you talk to. She answers your questions on WhatsApp and by email, prepares your quote and confirms your booking.
