At Tunisia Travel Guide, we prioritize clarity and transparency for our valued customers. This document outlines essential information about how we operate.

Refund Policy

We are dedicated to providing exceptional experiences for our guests while understanding that unforeseen circumstances may arise. To address various situations, we have established the following refund policy, which applies to all the services we provide, including Activities, Transfers, Excursions, and Tours.

General Procedure

For Activities:

Our agency offers pick-up services (in Djerba) from your hotel to the activity location.
Please note that the person accompanying you during activities may not speak your language fluently. They are there to guide you, ensure your safety, and provide necessary information about the activity. While they will make efforts to communicate, perfect language fluency is not mandatory, especially for activities like horse riding, camel rides, quad biking, buggy rides, jetskiing, and parachuting.

For Trips and Tours:

Our excursions require a minimum of 4 participants for scheduling. You may share transportation with other participants, which does not affect your accommodation.
Some tours or trips may require a minimum of 2 persons to book. If you are a solo traveler, please email us, and we will find a suitable solution.
If we do not reach a minimum of 4 participants, you may be asked to pay a supplement.
We may adjust the trip date (one day before or after) to reach the required 4 participants, subject to your agreement.
If the minimum participant count is not reached and you decline to pay the supplement, our agency reserves the right to cancel the trip.
In case of unfavorable weather conditions or force majeure, we may reschedule activities or excursions to the next available day with the same terms, and you will be informed. If rescheduling is not possible, you will receive a 100% refund.
Meals during trips and tours (hotels, tents, camps, etc.) include half-board accommodation. Lunches are provided outside these venues, and we cover the cost.
Pricing

For Activities:

Adults: Full price.
Children (under 10): 50% discount when accompanied by 2 adults.
Babies (0-1.99 years): Free of charge.
For Trips and Tours:

Children are charged at the adult rate as they occupy a full seat in the vehicle.

Payment

Payment is securely processed through our online payment system. Please provide payment information carefully.
We offer three payment methods:
– Online payment through our Tunisian payment provider, ClickToPay.
– Bank Transfer.
– Cash upon pick-up (requires a 30% deposit of the total amount to secure your booking, with a secure personalized payment link sent to you).

Cancellation

For 1-day trips, you can cancel up to 48 hours before departure.
For 2-day excursions, cancellation is possible up to 72 hours before departure.
Multi-day Tours (3 days and more) are non-refundable due to our commitments to partners like accommodations, guides, restaurants, etc.

Refund

If we must cancel any activity, tour, trip, or service you’ve booked for any reason, we guarantee a full refund.
Refunds for such cancellations will be processed through our payment gateway provider, ClickToPay, which may take up to 3 months. We will initiate the refund process and notify you.
Please note that each reserved activity involves financial and moral commitments from our side with various service providers. Costs are incurred even if you cancel your trip.
So:

If you cancel your entire journey to Tunisia for any reason, we will fully reimburse you (proof of cancellation required).

If you cancel an activity for reasons unrelated to our services, Tunisia Travel Guide will deduct 50% of the amount (applicable to activities priced between €10 and €50).

Multi-day tours are non-refundable due to financial obligations to partners.

We do not offer refunds based on dissatisfaction with third-party services. Third-party services, such as camel rides, quad biking, jetskiing, etc., are provided by partner organizations, and we cannot guarantee or control their quality or language proficiency.

Refund processing may take up to 3 months from the initiation of the process.
