1. About Us
Tunisia Travel Guide (TTG) is the Premium operational brand of Depart Travel Services, a Category A Licensed Travel Agency officially registered and approved by the Tunisian authorities.
All tours, excursions and travel services offered through Tunisia Travel Guide are conceived, designed and operated by our local expert team, under the full legal framework and guarantees of Depart Travel Services (Category A) — meaning every booking benefits from the complete legal protections afforded to clients of a certified Tunisian travel agency.
In short: the creativity and expertise of Tunisia Travel Guide, backed by the institutional credibility of a Category A agency.

2. Booking & Payment
2.1 A booking is confirmed upon receipt of a 30% deposit (strongly recommended) or full payment via our secure online payment platform.
2.2 The remaining balance (70%) is due in cash, euros (€) or Tunisian dinars (TND), on the day of the service, at the point of pickup or meeting point.
2.3 Prices are displayed in euros (€). TND equivalent is accepted at the exchange rate on the day of service.
2.4 The 30% deposit is not refundable in cash. However, with sufficient notice of cancellation (see Section 3), it is fully preserved as a Travel Credit valid 18 months — your money is never lost.
3. Cancellation Policy

All credits are issued as Travel Credit (see Section 4), never as cash refunds. The percentages apply to the amount you have actually paid (deposit or full payment) — not to the total price of the service.
4. Travel Credit
4.1 A Travel Credit is a commercial voucher, not a cash refund, issued by TTG following a cancellation under the conditions described in Section 3.
4.2 Travel Credit is valid for 18 months from the date of issue and may be applied toward any TTG service (excursion, activity, or tour).
4.3 Travel Credit is issued in the name of the original booker. It may be transferred to a person of their choice upon written request to TTG (WhatsApp or email). It cannot be exchanged for cash under any circumstances.
4.4 To redeem your Travel Credit, contact us via WhatsApp (+216 92 791 450) or email (contact@tunisia-travel-guide.com) at least 48 hours before your desired new booking.
4.5 If the new booking value exceeds the Travel Credit, the difference must be paid by the customer. If it is lower, no refund of the difference is issued.
4.6 Travel Credit that is not redeemed within 18 months expires automatically and cannot be extended or reinstated.
5. Cancellation by TTG
5.1 In exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, force majeure, or insufficient group size for group excursions), TTG reserves the right to cancel or modify a booking.
5.2 In such cases, we will first propose an alternative date. If the proposed alternative is refused by the customer, a full Travel Credit will be issued for 100% of the amount paid.
5.3 We will make every reasonable effort to notify customers of any cancellation at the earliest opportunity.
6. Modifications
6.1 Date changes are accepted free of charge up to 72 hours before the service, subject to availability.
6.2 Date changes requested within 72 hours of departure are treated as cancellations and the cancellation policy (Section 3) applies.
7. Responsibilities
7.1 TTG is responsible solely for the services explicitly described in the booking confirmation.
7.2 Customers are responsible for holding valid travel documents (passport, visa) and comprehensive travel insurance. TTG does not provide travel insurance.
7.3 We strongly recommend travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation.
7.4 TTG is not responsible for personal accidents, theft, or loss of personal belongings during tours or excursions.
7.5 TTG is not liable for delays or modifications caused by factors outside our control (traffic, weather, mechanical issues, etc.).
8. Force Majeure
8.1 Neither party will be held liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, pandemics, war, political unrest, border closures, or severe weather events.
8.2 In force majeure situations, TTG will issue a full Travel Credit (100% of the amount paid) valid 18 months. No cash refund will be provided.
9. Privacy
9.1 Personal data collected during booking (name, email, phone number) is used exclusively for booking management and communication. We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties except where required by Tunisian law.
9.2 By booking with TTG, you consent to receiving booking confirmations, service updates, and follow-up communications related to your reservation.
10. Applicable Law
10.1 These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Tunisia.
10.2 Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tunisia.
