Pause at the Berber village of Toujane for its sweeping panorama, then reach Matmata to visit Sidi Driss, the famous Star Wars filming location, and step inside an underground Berber home where you may be welcomed with tea and a taste of traditional fare. Continue to the fine dunes of Sabria for a night under canvas in the silence of the desert.

Wake gently to a view over the dunes, then drive to Douz, the gateway to the Sahara, for some free time in its lively market. Continue to the oasis of Ksar Ghilane, where a soak in the natural hot spring — long valued for its therapeutic properties — is the perfect reward. Wander the ochre dunes that surround the palm grove before heading on towards the Tataouine region and your Berber lodge for the night.
Ksar Hadada

After a relaxed breakfast facing the mountains, visit Ksar Hadada, where scenes from The Phantom Menace were filmed. Continue to the cliffside village of Chenini for around an hour with a local guide, discovering its oil mill, mosque and houses carved into the rock. A final stop in Tataouine — the town that gave Tatooine its name — rounds off the journey before your transfer back to Djerba and the end of our services.

A deposit of 30% of the total price is required to confirm your booking, this can be paid securely online via our payment link. The remaining balance is paid in cash (euros or Tunisian dinars, both accepted) directly to your guide at the start of the tour. No bank transfer or card payment is required for the balance.
