Djerba Island Discovery Tour

At 8:30 am, our team will pick you up where you are in Djerba for an unforgettable one-day island tour.
First, we head to the Roman road, the only paved route linking the island to the mainland. A quick photo stop, and your guide will walk you through the day's plan.

Then, on to Guellela, the pottery village where craftsmanship runs from father to son. You'll start at the Traditional Heritage Museum (also called the Guellela Museum), diving into Djerbian life, architecture, weddings, and economy-take a good hour to explore. After that, a local potter will welcome you into his workshop for a live demonstration, followed by time to shop if you wish.
Next, the famous Ghirba synagogue-the oldest Jewish synagogue in North Africa. Remember to remove your shoes and cover your head (hats and scarves are provided at the entrance).
We'll stroll through the artistic alleys of DjerbaHood, a village with traditional Djerbian architecture where over 100 artists from around the world have left their marks on the walls. Don't forget your camera!
By noon, it's time to eat… Djerbian style! Your guide takes you to the fish market in Houmt Souk, where you'll witness a rare auction-style fish sale. Pick the fish you like (you pay for it), and the adjacent restaurant will grill it for you, served with Tunisian salad, fries, a large soft drink, and a large bottle of water-on us.
After lunch, we'll walk off the meal through the alleys of Houmt Souk. Discover old caravanserais (Fondouks), hear stories of the caravanners, and explore the spice market and covered souk for all your shopping and gifts.
In the late afternoon, we visit Djerba Explore, with its three modules: the Lella Hadhria museum, the Heritage module, and of course, the crocodile park.
Finally, our team accompanies you back to your hotel. That marks the end of your services-until we meet again for more discoveries!
