The Crocodile Farm at Djerba Explore sits in the heart of Midoun’s tourist area, at the foot of the Tourgueness lighthouse. It is less than ten minutes from most major hotels. The park is also about twenty kilometers from the airport and Houmt Souk. This complex is unique in the Mediterranean basin. Culture, history, relaxation, and leisure all come together in one place.

The crocodile farm is the park’s highlight. Around 770 crocodiles live here, along with iguanas and turtles. Visitors watch them bask in the sun. They also see them wade through the water inside the tropical greenhouse. Your visit includes the traditional Djerbian house, known as “Houch Djerbi.” You will discover typical local architecture. Additionally, you will explore two museums about Maghreb heritage and local Tunisian culture.

Special activities take place throughout the day. At 11:00, visitors can enjoy the reptile show. At 16:00, the main attraction begins: crocodile feeding. Afterward, at 16:30, visitors can take photos with a baby crocodile. What a souvenir!

Visitors can choose either a morning or afternoon visit. Morning visitors catch the reptile show. Meanwhile, afternoon visitors experience feeding time and baby crocodile photos. However, we recommend avoiding Mondays and Tuesdays. On those days, there are no reptile shows or crocodile feeding activities.

On the day of your visit, we pick you up from your hotel or guesthouse. Then we transfer you directly to the park. After your visit, we drop you back at your accommodation.
