She has practised the traditional Tunisian style for years. Tunisian culture has used henna for centuries. People apply it during celebrations and weddings. They also use it as a protective blessing. The artist draws designs on your hands, feet, or arms.

Henna and Hargouss, authentic Amazigh patterns, pure natural henna

Unlike commercial tourist henna, these designs come from authentic Djerban and Amazigh (Berber) pattern libraries. You will see geometric motifs, stylised florals, and symbolic shapes. Each pattern carries a specific cultural meaning. The artist will explain these meanings to you.

We use pure natural henna throughout. We never use black henna because it contains harmful chemicals. The artist prepares the paste fresh each day. She uses henna powder, lemon juice, and essential oils. The result is a classic dark reddish-brown stain. This stain lasts between one and three weeks. Duration depends on placement and aftercare.
